ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic, and experienced Sales Professional to join our growing organization. You would be joining a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional team composed of sales account managers, project managers, business analysts, developers, product owners and quality assurance analysts delivering world-class products. We’re looking for someone who’s personable, resourceful, and can organically nurture and foster strong relationships.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership and communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple priorities within demanding timelines
  • A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience as an account manager and/or business development manager with strong sales management knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge and experience serving complex clients in the food & beverage industry – with a preference for experience in Managed Food Services
  • Strong propensity to serve client needs, partnering and working towards becoming a trusted
    advisor through experience in relationship building
  • Success in playing a leading role within an account team
  • Strong experience in business-to-business sales
  • High-level, strategic selling skills derived from working in multi-layered, business-to-business focused environments
  • A proven record of building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and solidify strong business relationships with strategic accounts
  • Develop long-term account value and identify growth opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships that increase account penetration and lead to increased revenue opportunities with new and/or existing clients
  • Plan, create and execute account-based sales plans to build our brand with clients while pursuing opportunities and growing revenues
  • Become a trusted advisor, while sharing experiences and ideas that have proven to help address our clients’ top priorities and get to the heart of their business needs
  • Meet and, ideally, exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Must be resourceful, self-starter, maintain skill set; aptitude to evaluate / become proficient in new technologies, processes and skills, motivated learner
  • Result oriented, “Let’s do it right” and “Make it happen” attitude, seek win-win outcomes
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to communicate and work with all levels
    of an organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to coordinate and facilitate technical meetings with multiple vendors and stakeholders
  • Must be flexible, good organizational skills, good listener with attention to detail and have ability to multi-task
